OUR STORY
Vintage Brooklyn Print Co. is built on more than 30 years of experience, creativity, entrepreneurship, and a genuine passion for the printing industry.
-
1994
Our journey began in 1994, when our founder first learned the craft of printing during his senior year at La Salle Academy in New York City. What started as learning a trade quickly developed into years of hands-on experience, including subcontract printing for major brands such as Baby Phat and producing apparel used by recording artists in music videos. -
2007
After years of working behind the scenes in the industry, the next chapter began in 2007 with the opening of a brick-and-mortar retail store in Brooklyn.
-
2012
In 2012, we took the business in an innovative new direction by transforming a Chevrolet P30 step van into a mobile retail store and print shop, bringing products and printing services directly to the community.
BUT PRINTING HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT MORE THAN BUSINESS
-
2017–2019
From 2017–2019, our founder created a printing curriculum and taught a print program at Brooklyn Democracy Academy in Brownsville, Brooklyn, providing underserved youth with hands-on exposure to printing, creativity, entrepreneurship, and a practical trade. The program later came to an end following the passing of the school’s principal, Ms. Romaine, during the COVID-19 pandemic. -
2020
In 2020, we revamped the business, bringing decades of hands-on experience together with modern production methods for custom apparel, embroidery, and printing. -
Today
Vintage Brooklyn Print Co. carries that experience and history forward, providing professional custom apparel, embroidery, DTF printing, screen-print transfers, HTV, sublimation, custom headwear, patches, tumblers, aluminum photo prints, and more.
We proudly serve businesses, brands, organizations, teams, schools, events, and individuals combining decades of experience with modern production methods and personalized service to bring each customer’s vision to life.
From learning the craft in 1994, to printing for major brands, opening a Brooklyn storefront, taking the business mobile, teaching the next generation, and building Vintage Brooklyn Print Co. today—printing isn’t simply what we do. It’s part of our story.
